Tottenham's key midfielder Mousa Dembele has been passed fit to play against Juventus on Wednesday, according to an injury specialist.

Ben Dinnery, who works as an injury specialist for ESPN, posted the news on his Twitter account on Tuesday lunchtime.

He also confirmed that Serge Aurier wouldn't be available as he's suspended and that Toby Alderweireld would be out with his hamstring injury.

Football Insider verdict:

This is fantastic news for Tottenham. Harry Kane might be their goal-scoring talisman but the job Dembele does in the middle is arguably even more important for Spurs in a game of the magnitude of Juventus. After he gave Tottenham fans a scare when he signalled he wanted to come off in the second-half of the Huddersfield game, this is the news all Tottenham fans have been waiting for. Barring Alderweireld, it leaves Pochettino free to pick his strongest side – we were expecting Aurier to be dropped in favour of Kieran Trippier anyway.
