Graeme Murty confirmed that both Bruno Alves and Lee Wallace would be in contention for the game against St Johnstone on Tuesday night. Alves made the bench for the game against Hearts but was an unused sub. The Hearts game came too soon for Lee Wallace who has been out since September after a groin operation, but he too is now fully fit. However, Murty did exercise some caution, saying that he would decide when the right time was to include them back into direct action.

The good news is that both players should have experienced some game time before the Old Firm clash at Ibrox on March 11. The gap at the top of the table is back to nine points after both Celtic and Rangers won over the weekend, but Murty's men get the chance to put the pressure back on with a win against St Johnstone on Tuesday. They'll be hoping that Celtic slip up between now and the Old Firm clash which would give them a shot at inflicting some real damage in the Ibrox clash. In other Rangers news,
