'Insane', 'Criminal' – Rangers fans stunned after latest reported club development
Rangers fans have been left stunned after a report claims the club has turned down an £11million bid for striker Alfredo Morelos.
Four Lads Had a Dream, a reliable source of Rangers information, reported on Saturday night that the club had not received a satisfactory bid yet for Morelos.
They also reported that he would be in the Rangers squad for the game against Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers stance remains the same, Alfredo Morelos stays until the summer minimum & no satisfactory bid has been made yet.
He is in the squad for tomorrow & If he plays hopefully he does the business.
Great show of strength by board & another indication we are in a good place

This follows on from a previous claim that a bid for £11million had been received from a Chinese club, with their transfer window not shutting until February 28.
Looks like Alfredo Morelos is edging closer to move to China. The chinese refusing to take no for an answer
Rangers set for £11m for the striker. Contracts not agreed yet but this one certainly looks like it may be happening or could
Nothing definite, One to watch certainly

This claim was followed up by a report in the Scottish Sun that stated the £11million bid was a take-it-or-leave-it one from Chinese club Beijing Renhe.
Rangers fans seem to be split down the middle, with both sides taken aback by the Rangers board’s decision.
One fan said it was “criminal” that they were turning down this much money while another said they should be applauded for their stance.
Here are the best reactions from Rangers fans following the report:
Criminal against the backdrop of recent years – the cash can secure much more players than just one.

It’s insane. If it’s a (real) bid of £11million take it and run! After the last 7 years we’ve had that money could do so much. What makes them so sure they will get more in the summer? What if he does his cruciate? Seems a poor decision to turn it down

Am happy he's staying, but I'm surprised we're turning that kind of cash down.

Going to go to Chinese deadline day

Simply too much coin to knock back for the club IMO. Respect the decision all the same.

It doesn’t make sense though. We need money lol. I mean, we just took our finance

Freddo’s here until 55….Million

As long as he doesn’t get injured he will continue to score and will remain a big target due to his age. His record expands beyond rangers and clubs recognise a natural goal scorer at an early stage. Just don’t get a bad injury????

Huge credit to the board. Who would have thought we would be knocking back that type of money after last 5/6 years. Hoping this is a sign that big investment is coming.

Huge credit to the board and Mark Allen I have no doubt in my mind that the boy would have been sold when that first bid came in if Allen wasn’t with the club it’s been a good week for the club hopefully 3points and a good performance ????⚪️???? pic.twitter.com/tm4lpVGR0Z
