Insider: Clubs would rather sign Sissoko than Tottenham flop Ndombele after transfer latest
Tottenham will struggle to sell Tanguy Ndombele as players like Moussa Sissoko look like more attractive signings.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Wenham has already revealed to Football Insider that Tottenham are still looking to sell the midfielder after his underwhelming career in North London.
After asking to leave in the summer, Ndombele has worked his way back into the squad but has been heavily criticised for his latest performances.
Sissoko left Tottenham for Watford in the summer after five years with the club.
Wenham insists players like Sissoko are more attractive to clubs who are looking for a powerhouse midfielder and predicted more problems for Spurs as they look to move Ndombele on.

“Tottenham are really going to struggle to sell Ndombele,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“No manager knows what they will get from him, that’ another problem. It’s that inconsistency.
“Just look, Sissoko left the club in the summer and everyone was pretty much happy with that.
“Out of Ndombele and Sissoko, which one is getting in the national side? Sissoko.
“We know what we are going to get from Sissoko, he works hard. He covers from one end of the pitch to the other.
“I don’t want to bash on the guy too hard but when clubs would rather sign Sissoko, what can you do?”
Ndombele has been in and out of the Spurs team since he joined in 2019.
He has so far made 80 appearances for the club.
