Insider makes '£110m' Ndombele claim as he reveals true cost of Tottenham transfer
Tottenham want to sell Tanguy Ndombele next summer despite his recall to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Football Insider revealed on 16 August that the 24-year-old told club chiefs he wanted to leave before this summer’s transfer deadline.
However, Spurs did not receive any suitable offers for the France international.
Ndombele, 24, has now started for Spurs in their last three Premier League games after being omitted from the competition’s opening four of the campaign.
Wenham insists Tottenham still want to sell Ndombele next summer despite his recall to Nuno’s side.

“We need to get some money out of this guy,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He’s on £200,000 per week and cost £65million, he’s cost £110million over the duration of his contract.
“We need to get value out of him. There is no chance he stays here long-term.
“But I’m happy for him to play and put himself in the shop window, as long as he performs.
“He has asked to leave for three successive summers, including six weeks after we bought him.
“He’s a YouTube footballer, the younger generation love him. He does the tricks and the skills but doesn’t perform regularly.
“His goalscoring isn’t great and his assist numbers aren’t great. I think Tottenham will try to move him on this summer.
“It won’t be a COVID market so there will be money to spend. But what will Tottenham get for him?
“It just hasn’t worked under four managers. It’s a hard deal to do but Tottenham will try to get rid of him.”
