Major development: Rangers talks with star man reach crunch point - report

A reliable source of Rangers information has dropped a huge hint that talks are intensifying between the club and striker Alfredo Morelos.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Four Lads Had a Dream Twitter page posted an image of Morelos celebrating a goal with the words, “Sliding in for contract talks like…”
The news was posted on their personal Twitter page on Tuesday afternoon.

The future of Morelos has come under very heavy speculation recently after the club confirmed that there had been interest from Chinese club Beijing Renhe in the January window.
This hasn’t gone away with the Chinese transfer deadline not shutting until February 28, and a report in the Scottish Sun claimed that the Chinese side were coming back in with a bid for £11m.
The Four Lads Had a Dream Twitter account reported that the club as set to turn this down as well and that the player would be staying at least until the summer.
They also claimed that Morelos would be in the squad for the Hamilton game on Sunday, which proved to be correct with the striker scoring Rangers’ third goal in a 5-3 win.

Manager Graeme Murty confirmed that the club was talking to the player earlier in February saying, as quoted by the Daily Record, “We’ll be sitting down and talking to Alfredo throughout this week and next week, making sure he’s happy.
“Because we want happy players, desperate to play for our club. So we’ll be discussing his future and his targets with him this week.
And now it appears those talks are intensifying after the latest update. Rangers fans will be hoping for positive news in the coming days.
