Insider: Fabio Paratici set to green light three Tottenham signings before 8 January
Fabio Paratici will sanction “two or three” youth signings in January after a dire start to the season from the Tottenham Under-21 side.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham’s Under-21s have not won any of their 13 Premier League 2 games so far this season.
They are rock bottom of their division and won’t play again until they face Liverpool’s Under-21s on 8 January.
Wenham is expecting Paratici to sanction several signings as relegation is not an option for the club.
“This Tottenham Under-21 team is going to undergo a mass transformation in time for their next fixture,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They now haven’t got a game until the middle of January. I wouldn’t be surprised to see two or three players added to that squad ahead of that game.
“We are going to see changes because the team is now bottom of their PL2 division after a loss against West Ham, who were bottom before that game.
“We missed a penalty and could have got something from that game so it’s another really disappointing one. We played well but things just aren’t falling for us.
“I think there will be changes. There is no chance Paratici lets that team get relegated.”
While the Under-21s haven’t won any of their 13 games, they have only lost seven.
Six draws have given the side six points and a win in their next game could only lift them one place in the table.
