Insider names Tottenham starting XI v West Ham after final training today

Tottenham will line up against West Ham with the same starting 11 that beat Newcastle last weekend.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Nuno confirmed to Football.London that every player who started against Newcastle remained in the UK while a second-string side travelled to face Vitesse on Thursday.

Spurs lost 1-0 to Vitesse as players like Davinson Sanchez and Harry Winks were given rare starts.

Wenham doesn’t expect anyone who played on Thursday to stay in the starting 11 for Sunday’s crunch clash against West Ham.

“I can tell you right now what the team will be,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“It will be the same side that started against Newcastle, I’m certain. Keeping everyone who started against Newcastle in the UK tells me they will start again.

“I don’t think anyone who played yesterday did enough to put themselves in contention so it should be a pretty easy decision for Nuno.

“There could be the chance for some of them to make an impact off the bench because I don’t expect us to not make any subs again.

“One thing I do know is we will have to step up on that performance we put in against Newcastle.

“West Ham are a far better team and will cause us plenty of problems.”

Tottenham failed to beat West Ham in the Premier League last season.

The Hammers will go above Spurs if they manage to win on Sunday.
