Insider: Tottenham 'will sign Gollini' as new details emerge
Tottenham will look to make Pierluigi Gollini’s loan move permanent after impressing his teammates at Hotspur Way.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
The stopper has already made five appearances this season and proved to be the hero in Spurs’ penalty shootout win over Wolves in the EFL Cup.
Wenham claims Gollini’s move will be made permanent if he makes 20 or more appearances for the club and predicted the deal will happen.
“Yeah, I can see that happening,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“From what I understand, he has adapted really well and the rest of the players really like him.
“It sounds like he’s progressing nicely and it’s a big advantage that he has previous experience in English football with the likes of Man United and Aston Villa.
“Unfortunately he doesn’t count as homegrown because he didn’t play much for either of them.
“However, I still think Tottenham will sign him. There is a clause in the contract that means he will join us if he plays more than 20 games in all competitions.
“He has already played a fair few. He was a hero in the shootout win over Wolves.
“He’s a really strong number two, I’ve been impressed with him.”
Gollini spent time at Man United as a youth player.
He also made 20 Championship appearances for Aston Villa during 2016-17.
