Insider: Tottenham "are in" for Vlahovic after Paratici reveal
Tottenham are “in” for Dusan Vlahovic despite Fabio Paratici’s comments to the contrary.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Spurs transfer chief Fabio Paratici is quoted by Festival dello Sport (via Fabrizio Romano) as saying “he’s not in our plans”.
On 5 October, Fiorentina released a statement confirming the striker, 21, would not sign a new contract with the club.
He scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A appearances and was reportedly chased by numerous clubs through the summer.

The hitman scored his countries only goal in a win over Luxembourg last week.
Wenham has told Tottenham fans to not read into Paratici’s comments and claims the club will still be interested in Vlahovic.
“That’s not surprising to me,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“What Paratici says to the Italian media and what is going on in the background are two very different things.
“It would be dangerous to put down a real statement if Atletico Madrid then offer him double the money and we miss out.
“Then we’re looked at as a failure. Sometimes it’s better to conduct your business quietly in the background.
“I would imagine we are interested. We were heavily linked over the summer.
“He seems to have a nice profile to him, a nice build. From what I’ve seen he looks very good.
“I’m always a fan of those iconic Fiorentina kits. I think Tottenham are in for him.
“I wouldn’t read too much into Paratici’s comments.“
