Kristoffer Ajer would be “desperate” to swap Celtic for Leicester City if they make a move to sign him this summer, according to Alan Hutton.
The former Scotland full-back, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, believes a switch to the King Power would “tick all the boxes” for the Hoops’ centre back.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, who writes for Gazetta dello Sport and Il Giornal, claims on his personal Twitter account that transfer talks are ongoing for the 22-year-old, with Leicester, Arsenal and AC Milan all keen.

However, Hutton suggests a reunion with former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers would tempt the Norway international into heading to the East Midlands in the summer.
Hutton told Football Insider: “I think he’s been excellent this season, he’s just 22-years-of-age and he’s done brilliant for Celtic.
“Obviously you’d be looking to kick on and obviously going to the Premier League is massive. For players such as himself, I’m sure he’d be desperate to test himself at the highest level.
“Not only that, but going to a team which is flying high, a great young team, a great manager who knows him well. It literally ticks all the boxes for him.
“Me personally, whenever you signed for a team or a manager came in that you knew, he knew you well, it always kind of works out.
“I think it’ll be a great offer for himself and obviously all the teams. The fee’s going to be quite high so Celtic will be happy and Leicester also.”
