James Beattie sends Twitter message to Leeds fans after Preston victory

James Beattie has thanked Leeds fans for their support on Twitter after earning victory over Preston on Boxing Day.
The Yorkshire giants ran out heavy 4-1 winners with goals from Kemar Roofe, Hadi Sacko, Souleymane Doukara and Pablo Hernandez.
First-team coach Beattie commented on the “fabulous support” from fans on his personal Twitter account after the clash, stating that the players deserve it and that they give everything.

Beattie was brought to the club with Garry Monk in the summer after the duo worked together at Swansea.
They both also worked together in their playing careers when the pair were at Southampton.

Their partnership now seems to have flourished in the coaching team at Leeds with the Yorkshire giants currently occupying fifth place.
The famous club are looking to end their 12-year wait for top flight football and if they do finish in the play-offs, it’ll be the first time since the final defeat against Watford.
Leeds are currently five points clear of seventh placed Fulham and they will face Aston Villa next in the league on Thursday.
The Midlands giants are currently sat in 10th place after their victory against Burton on Monday, with three points separating them from the top six.
