Jarrod Bowen: West Ham could demand £70m for star after Liverpool development - Kenny

West Ham could demand as much as £70million from Liverpool for Jarrod Bowen.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the attacker’s future.

As quoted by the Daily Mail (4 March) Jurgen Klopp hailed Bowen as “unbelievable” ahead of last weekend’s game between Liverpool and the Irons.

As revealed by Football Insider on 13 January, Liverpool are continuing to keep close tabs on his performances ahead of a potential summer move.

Kenny insists West Ham are in a position to demand whatever they want from Liverpool udue to Bowen’s importance to the side.

“I said a few months ago West Ham could demand something like £60million,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“He’s got even better since then so it could even be £70million now.

“He is such an important player for West Ham so they can actually demand whatever they want.

“It’s one of those, there is nothing to talk about until a bid goes in but there is no way he comes cheap.

“Where would West Ham be without Bowen this season? It just depends on whether Liverpool still want him after they signed Luis Diaz.

“Bowen would want to go, I’ve said that, but I don’t think £70million is unrealistic.”

Bowen has scored 12 goals in 39 outings for the Irons this season.

He has also registered 11 assists.
