Joe Rodon will complete Tottenham transfer after official news - expert
Joe Rodon will still be sold by Tottenham despite being handed the number 22 shirt by the club.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham confirmed on 22 July that Rodon has been given the number 22 shirt ahead of the new season.
Ivan Perisic thanked Rodon on Instagram for allowing him to take the number 14 shirt, previously assigned to the Wales international.
The 24-year-old’s Spurs future is far from certain with this site reporting on 11 July that Fulham were making a move to sign him.
Wenham insists Rodon could still leave despite being assigned a new number ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

“It’s just one of those things where Perisic wanted the number 14,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He is a hugely respected player, he’s won Serie A and played in a World Cup final. He has always worn 14.
“Sorry to Rodon but he has no attachment to that number. With Rodon, I still expect him to move on.
“I have seen the Fulham interest reported by Football Insider and they have a bit of money so we will have to see how that one pans out.”
Rodon only made three Premier League appearances during the 2021-22 season.
Two of those came in the final three games of the season but he only accrued nine minutes of action in those outings.
