Chelsea winger Kenedy is keen on securing a move to Newcastle United as the clubs look to sort out the paperwork over a potential loan move, according to a journalist.
Lee Ryder, chief sports writer for the Chronicle, has claimed on his personal Twitter account that the Magpies are in the key stages of securing a temporary swoop for the 21-year-old speed machine, although are said to still be waiting on Blues boss Antonio Conte to rubber stamp the deal.

The young Brazilian has struggled for game time this season, having made just four outings for Chelsea’s senior side in the cup competitions, while he has four unused substitute appearances to his name in the league.
A natural winger, he is also able to play at left back, with Newcastle having just Paul Dummett and Massadio Haidara as natural options for the role.
Football Insider verdict
Kenedy’s arrival at St James’ Park seems to be a matter of when, not if, although as Newcastle fans will attest, nothing is simple with the Magpies. Conte may well be looking to secure a replacement for the youngster’s departure, meaning Rafael Benitez may be forced to play a waiting game over his potential arrival. As for what he will offer the club, the Brazilian is a raw but promising talent but is as yet unproven in the top flight. Newcastle already have a host of wingers at their disposal so he may be utilised as a left wing back, which would open the opportunity of some new tactics to Benitez, having experimented with a five man defence against Manchester City earlier this season.
In other Newcastle United transfer news, the club are in hot pursuit of an £8million-rated enforcer from these league leaders.
