'Just Shut Up' - Exclusive: Pundit savages senior figure 'Upsetting the Celtic Applecart'
Alan Hutton has ripped into Diego Laxalt’s agent for “upsetting the apple cart” at Celtic by discussing the left-back’s future.
The former Rangers and Scotland star, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, has insisted the Hoops loanee needs to focus on his football at Parkhead instead of thinking about where he could move to next.
As quoted by the Daily Record, the 27-year-old’s representative, Ariel Krasouski, has claimed Laxalt is set to return to AC Milan at the end of the season and that he wants to play in England next season.
The Uruguayan ace has been a standout performer for Celtic this season with 14 appearances and a single goal under his belt to date.
Hutton has heralded the wing-back for his performances during what has been a difficult campaign for the Bhoys but admitted he needed to tell his agent to keep quiet right now.
Hutton told Football Insider: “I just don’t get it. Honestly, I don’t understand, what is it with agents just now? I mean seriously, he’s not playing (at AC Milan), he’s come to Celtic, and he’s played week in, week out and he’s done well.

“I mean if we look over the course of it, he has done well in a team that struggled – right, okay, but why put this out? He’s only played a handful of games, he’s done well and all of a sudden he wants to go and play in England? Just shut up agent, just be quiet.
“Let the player play his football and enjoy it. Don’t make a big deal out of it because it’s only going to affect the player, it’s only going to affect Celtic, everybody involved. You’re just upsetting the applecart, it’s so annoying.
“I see all these things with agents. I mean if that’s my agent, I’m literally just telling him, ‘shut up and let me play. I’ve had a difficult time, I’ve not played at my parent club, I’m enjoying my football now, let’s just concentrate on this. Don’t make dramas that don’t need to be there’.
“It just annoys me, agents really annoy me.”
Ariel Krasouski told the Daily Record: “Diego is playing a lot of games for Celtic and he is very happy there. They treat him very well in Glasgow. In the summer he will return to Milan after his loan contract at Celtic ends.
“I think Milan will try and sell him at that point before his contract expires in a year’s time. Diego’s wish is to play next season in England. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.”
