Klopp makes prediction ahead of Liverpool clash against Man City
By Emma Sanders
Jurgen Klopp has urged fans to buy a ticket to watch Liverpool’s clash against Manchester City at Anfield on New Year’s Eve and claimed if he would be in the stands if he wasn’t working.
The Liverpool boss is renowned for his enthusiastic character and he was evidently excited for the Reds’ clash against Manchester City during his pre-match press conference.
Klopp predicted it will be a “really exciting” game and he is expecting an “interesting” match-up between the two sides who are both in the running for the league title.
In a video posted by the Press Association on Twitter, Klopp admitted he would have definitely bought a ticket for the game.

“We are getting better. It will be really interesting. It will be a different game and we cannot play like last year. It will be really exciting.”
Liverpool currently sit in second place, just one point ahead of City in the league table but both teams will see the game as an important fixture in the title chase.
Chelsea are already six points clear at the top of the table and Liverpool can’t afford to fall further behind, though they are still yet to host the Londoners at Anfield.
City have picked up nine points in their last three games so they will be hoping to add another victory before the end of the year.
Liverpool have been in impressive attacking form but they will still be without Philippe Coutinho, who has been injured since the 2-0 victory against Sunderland last month.
