Leeds fans on Twitter have blasted the official Everton page as “disrespectful” after they shared the story regarding the Toffees’ reported interest in star man Chris Wood.
Football Insider reported on Wednesday afternoon that the 25-year-old had caught the eye of the Everton scouts due to his prolific goal scoring form for Garry Monk’s side this season.
The New Zealand international is Leeds’ star player with 27 goals in 40 matches in all competitions this season and naturally they want him to stay at the club regardless of whether they win promotion or not.
Now, fans of the Yorkshire-based club on social media have taken offence to to the official Everton Twitter page on Thursday after they covered the news stories regarding their club from the previous day, which included the Wood link.

Wood has now been at Leeds for two years after completing a move from Leicester in the summer of 2015.
He still has another two years remaining on his current contract and fans will surely be hoping he stays for longer.
