After scoring in the club's opening pre-season friendly against Harrogate, the left-back took to X where he shared: "We are back LUFC".

His comments were flooded with messages from fans calling for the club to hand him a new contract and hoping he would not leave Elland Road this summer.

The 27-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal at Elland Road, with fears that he could leave the club for free next summer.
