Leeds Under-23s beat Ipswich 3-2 on Monday evening at Portman Road and fans were hugely impressed with the performance of Jack Clarke.

The 17-year-old striker set up Sam Dalby for the opening goal of the game to give Leeds the lead, and fans took to Twitter saying that the youngster couldn't be far off the first team.

With the Leeds first team in a shocking spiral of form, fans might be happy to see the entire Under-23s side take on Bolton in the next Championship game.

But Clarke has impressed recently and Leeds fans would love to see him get some first-team experience before the end of the season.

One fan said that he would like to see him get some senior experience before the end of the season.

Another said that he is an "incredible talent" and not far off the first team.

Heckingbottom has already showed that he's willing to give youth a chance after successfully blooding Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Tom Pearce.
