'Tevez?' - Leeds fans react as Orta reveals imminent signing

Leeds United director of Victor Orta has certainly got supporters talking after he revealed that the club on the verge of sealing a “big” signing from Asia.

The Elland Road recruitment expert, who has already worked wonders at the Yorkshire club, revealed on Monday night that fans can expect a new player to be welcomed soon.

This has no doubt caused a bit of a stir among the Leeds fans, with many speculating who they could be signing after the transfer window slammed shut on Thursday night.

Leeds have already undergone a major face lift over the summer months which has seen Andrea Radrizzani gain full control of the club and Thomas Christiansen replace Garry Monk as manager, as well as big changes to the playing squad.

The development teams haven’t been immune to change, with a number of players being signed up from clubs across Europe over the summer.

Orta’s latest revelation is getting fans even more excited about the future of their club, with many speculating that they could be getting one of the players from the Chinese Super League with Carlos Tevez, Ramires and Oscar all being mentioned.

Leeds would not be able to sign anyone from another club at this stage in the season after the transfer window should and would only be able to register players who are currently free agents.
