'On fire', 'Continually overlooked' – Leeds fans blown away by one player from 3-2 Under-23 win
Pawel Cibicki was demoted to the Leeds Under-23s today but if the striker was upset by the move he didn’t show it.
The 24-year-old came out of the traps in a hurry, scoring two goals in the first two minutes at Thorp Arch.
It led to fans questioning why he wasn’t in the first-team set-up more, after his move from Malmo in the summer.
He has made seven Championship appearances for the first-team, but hasn’t made the matchday squad for the last two games.
One fan said that Cibicki is one of the five best players at Leeds while another said it was shocking how he was being overlooked by bother Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom.
Cibicki is yet to play for the new Leeds manager.
Sheffield Wednesday came back into the game and levelled at 2-2 but Leeds went on to win claim victory 3-2.
Here are the best reactions to Cibicki’s display at Thorp Arch on Friday afternoon:
Would rather have cibicki in 1st team squad than sackho at least he can put in a decent cross. SAIZ for England!

Cibicki wasted playing here 2 goals is great for the lad but let's use his pace in the first team. If players have knocks rotation is the better option!!

#LUFC Cibicki and Buoy been impressive so far, as have the team in general. Slotted into the side seamlessly. I love how comfortable this team is on the ball. Quick, intricate passing, and spraying it across the pitch. Happy to be patient, waiting for an opening, then quick…

Cibicki, Grot and Buoy ahould be regulars in the first team lineup. Shocking by Higginbottom and TCbefore him to be honest.

Great victory for the Under 23s beating Sheffield Wednesday 3-2. The win continues the unbeaten home run since November. Goals from Cibicki x2 and Balboa won it late on for the Whites. Particularly impressed with Pawel Cibicki #lufc #mot
