Leeds fans react on Twitter to stunning Roofe display against Preston

Kemar Roofe put in a stunning display for his side against Preston on Monday afternoon – and Leeds fans were overjoyed with him on Twitter.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder started for Garry Monk’s side in the attacking third, playing 85 minutes at Deepdale finishing with a goal and two assists.

He played a part in three of his sides goals in the 4-1 victory over Simon Grayson’s Lancashire counterparts.

Roofe’s display caught the attention of many supporters on social media and many were keen to hail their attacking midfielder’s performance.

Roofe now has five assists and three goals to his name in 27 appearances for Leeds since his move from Oxford.

He rose to fame in the last campaign, where he was named the League Two Player of the Year and the young attacker will be keen to rise up the leagues further with Leeds maintaining their high position in the Championship table.

The Yorkshire giants are now sat in a high fifth position in the second tier after their victory, creating a five point gap between themselves and seventh placed Fulham.
