Steve Evans has questioned the attitude of Bailey Peacock-Farrell after the Leeds manager left him out of the starting eleven to face Preston.

Peacock-Farrell had been hoping for a starting berth after being promised earlier in the season that he would be given a chance before the end of the campaign, but the 19-year-old has not been included the side.

Evans has made two changes to the side that lost to Charlton last weekend, but explained before the match why one of Leeds' best youngsters has been left out of the final match of the season.

"There was a temptation of course to put young Bailey into goal," said Evans speaking to LUTV.

"Possibly in the last couple of weeks in training he's been down a little bit. And that happens, he's young, he's still growing and when he's growing the goalkeeper department felt he would lose that little bit of agility.

"But, he's a top prospect as we know."

Toumani Diagouraga comes in for the ill Liam Bridcutt, while Alex Mowwatt takes Jordan Botaka's place on the wing.

Ronaldo Vieira is also in the matchday squad just two days after the 17-year-old signed his first professional contract with the club.

In other Leeds news, Andy Ritchie has slammed the Whites owner as Evans faces the sack.
