Kenny: 'Excellent' Danjuma perfect for Leeds amid update on Man United scouting mission
Arnaut Danjuma would suit the Leeds United style of play to a tee – he would be an “excellent signing”.
So says ex-Whites shot-stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 24-year-old Villareal wide forward.
This site revealed on 1 October that Leeds sent scouts to watch Danjuma against Man United in the recent Europa League Group F clash.
The former Bournemouth star produced a man-of-the-match performance as his side were beaten 2-1 after a 95th-minute Cristiano Ronaldo winner.
The Dutchman is under contract with Villareal until 2026 after he joined in a £21.3milllion deal in August.
He has five goals and one assist in eight matches so far this season.

Before he completed his move to Spain in the summer, Danjuma said a move to Leeds would be a “nice step”, as per Leeds Live on 30 September.
Kenny insists that Danjuma’s pace and flair would lend themselves well to Marcelo Bielsa’s attacking approach.
“He would slot into that Leeds forward line easily,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“They attack with pace and he has that. He has a really good record for Villareal this season.
“He could be on a quick return back to England if Leeds do decide to pursue this. I think it would be an excellent signing.
“He didn’t pull that many trees at Bournemouth. But Leeds play really different, attacking football.
“Sometimes players suit one club much more than they do another. I think that would be the case with Danjuma at Leeds.”
