Kieran Maguire: Leeds ready to splash the cash as Radrizzani 'dream' revealed
Andre Radrizzani must continue to invest in the transfer market and in infrastructure if he wants to see Leeds United qualify for Europe.
So says finance boffin Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the majority shareholder’s recent admission.
Radrizzani told Sky Sports on 12 September that “the dream is to play in European nights in a bigger stadium in two or three years.”
The sports media tycoon has pumped over £150million into Leeds’ transfer kitty over the last two years.
Plans to boost capacity at Elland Road to beyond 50,000 are also in the pipeline.
And Maguire predicts that Radrizzani will persist with his spend-happy approach if he wants to realise his European ‘dream’.

“Continued investment is essential,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“Leeds have made a very good start in the form of their first season in the Premier League.
“They will find it tougher this season because people will be more familiar with the tactical side of Bielsa’s team.
“So they need to outsmart everyone again and part of the way you do that is through is having more technical players, and they come at a premium.
“They have got a good academy but I imagine they will have to recruit as well.
“That doesn’t necessarily mean spending huge sums of money, it means recruiting the right players.
“In order to do that, you need to invest in the data and recruitment side of things as well.”
