Leeds United must agree ‘favourable’ terms to seal Largie Ramazani exit

Leeds United could see Largie Ramazani move to Valencia again in the upcoming transfer window.

According to Tribuna Deportiva on 25 May, the LaLiga club are open to the 25-year-old’s return to Mestalla, but only on “favourable” financial terms.

The news outlet reports that, as things stand, the Spanish side have no intention of making any moves to sign players who joined them on loan last summer, but they could make an exception for the Belgian winger and Celta Vigo defender Unai Nunez.

Football Insider understands Wilfried Gnonto wants to leave Elland Road in the summer after his lack of game time in the 2025-26 campaign and he could be followed out the door by the former Almeria star.

Daniel Farke doesn’t seem to rate Ramazani highly and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the West Yorkshire outfit make concessions to seal his permanent exit in the coming weeks.

Leeds United have upper-hand in Largie Ramazani transfer talks

Ramazani had a poor first half of the season on loan at Valencia and it wouldn’t have been surprising to see Leeds call him back.

The Belgian attacker only got his first league start for Los Che in February and didn’t look back from that point on.

Ramazani ended the season with six goals for the Spanish side, helping them avoid relegation, which had looked like a realistic possibility.

The forward has definitely made a big enough impact at the Mestalla to convince Valencia, giving the Whites some room to manoeuvre regarding their valuation for a sale.

Paraag Marathe may hand Largie Ramazani Elland Road reprieve

Paraag Marathe has given Leeds fans a reality check going into the summer window, with the 49ers Enterprises chief admitting they will need to be strategic in the market.

The American owners have already told supporters not to expect a big splash from the Whites when it comes to recruitment as they navigate financial constraints.

Farke may have to be a bit creative with his squad for the 2026-27 campaign, which may require giving fringe players like Ramazani another opportunity at Elland Road.

While securing Premier League safety has brought joy to LS11, fans may be in for another long, enduring season in the top flight.
