Leeds told to re-sign Rose after major transfer reveal - Kenny
Danny Rose is an “excellent” left-back and his wealth of Premier League experience would make him a perfect signing for Leeds United.
That is according to ex-Whites goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Turkish outlet Fotospor reported that Danny Rose is Trabzonspor’s number one left-back target ahead of the summer.
The 29-time England international graduated from Leeds’ academy in 2006 before joining Tottenham a season later.
The 30-year-old’s contract expires in June and, after not featuring for Spurs since last July, he is not expected to renew.
Kenny floated the idea of Rose returning to Elland Road, suggesting that he would be an ideal target.

“If you can get Danny Rose on a free, that’s an absolute no-brainer,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“His contract is up soon and it doesn’t look like he’ll sign another. He didn’t have much to shout about at Newcastle, but these things happen.
“He’s got a lot of experience at Premier League level. He’d be an excellent player to add to their squad. You can see why he is a top priority for them [Trabzonspor].
“He’s got quality and sometimes you’ve got to take a step back to come forwards. He’d be a really good signing.”
Rose spent the second half of the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Newcastle, featuring 13 times.
He did not make a senior appearance during his time with Leeds.
