Leeds will beat Man United and Bielsa's 'brilliant plan' will be the difference - Agbonlahor
Leeds United can beat Man United on Saturday because Marcelo Bielsa has organised an ultra-competitive pre-season.
So says ex-Premier League hitman Gabby Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider ahead of the clash at Old Trafford on 14 August.
Leeds drew 2-2 with Europa League champions Villareal at Elland Road on 7 August.
They have also faced Dutch champions Ajax and Real Betis, who finished 6th in La Liga, in their pre-season preparations.
Agbonlahor tips Leeds to overcome their arch-rivals at Old Trafford because Bielsa has put them through their paces over the summer.
“Having a more competitive pre-season than a lot of teams is a brilliant plan for Bielsa,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.

“If I was a manager, I’d want to test my team against the best. You’re gonna get more out of it if the opposition is harder.
“That is gonna stand you in good stead for playing Man United away in the first game of the season.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Leeds go and beat them on the first game of the season.
“Anything can happen on the first game. Not all teams are as fit as each other and it’s gonna be a boiling hot day.
“So I fancy Leeds to be in a better position to win that game than Man United because of their pre-season.
“United have no Rashford, Martial isn’t fit, it’s going to be Sancho’s first game and it can take a while to get into the Premier League.
“So it really wouldn’t surprise me if they went and beat them at Old Trafford.”
