Fewer touches than James Trafford, Leeds player who lost possession 12x let team down vs Arsenal
Daniel Farke will be utterly disappointed with Leeds United's second-half performance against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Leeds were sensational in the first half on Saturday, 10 October, shutting the home side out completely, before launching themselves into the lead.
Farke had to wait until after the break for that, but when the ball fell to James Justin inside the box, the defender made no mistake.
Just seven minutes later, though, the Gunners found an equaliser through Riccardo Calafiori, and Bruno Guimaraes found the back of the net in the 70th minute.
Given the tremendous start by the Whites in North London, the travelling fans have every right to be disappointed when walking away with nothing.
After the opening 45 minutes, the entire Leeds team appeared to be on the same page, but it didn't quite stay like that.
Noah Okafor causes frustration vs Arsenal
The early signs from Noah Okafor were positive, especially when he saw his goal-bound shot blocked in the eighth minute, but it didn't last.
As the clock ticked by, the Switzerland international grew quiet, and his 29 touches compared to James Trafford's 64 say a lot about his display [FotMob].
In 71 minutes, Okafor created zero chances, covered the 18th-highest distance, completed zero per cent of his dribbles, and lost 100 per cent of his ground duels.
He also lost 66 per cent of his aerial duels, and having lost possession 12 times at the Emirates [Sofascore], his failings only added to the team's frustrations.
Fans have been very critical of the forward, and this would have been the perfect chance to prove his doubters wrong. He only confirmed their worst fears.
Who must Daniel Farke axe vs Man United?
Leeds certainly grew back into the game, but Arsenal took full advantage of their opponent's lull in form at the Emirates Stadium.
Nearly making a blunder in added time, combined with his poor attempt at saving Calafiori's shot, some may want James Trafford dropped.
Anton Stach was relatively ineffective, but Manchester United's midfielder is likely to be far more open, allowing for him to get in between the lines.
Nico Elvedi was not at his best either, and with Jaka Bijol being forced to come off the bench, that could be a simple change at Old Trafford.
