Leeds told '£20m' bid will be accepted after Manor Solomon's admission
Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to cash in if Leeds United made a move to bring Manor Solomon back to Elland Road this summer.
That is according to former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider that Leeds may only have to spend £20million to seal the winger's signature permanently.
Solomon quickly became a fan favourite in the 2024-25 campaign, notching 10 goals and 13 assists in all competitions, and promotion may never have happened without him.
Supporters were disappointed not to see the Whites agree a permanent deal for the Israeli international at the end of the season, and clearly, the feeling was mutual.
Speaking in a recent interview with Sport 5 (24 June), the 26-year-old said: "I really connected to Leeds, it's a club that will always be in my heart. Especially the audience, which is amazing.
"When I went into the first game and heard the Leeds crowd, I said to myself, 'I've come to the right place.' At the end of the season I wanted to be at Tottenham or Leeds."
Manor Solomon's comments raise alarm bells at Leeds United
His recent comments have sparked rumours and anticipation that Leeds could finally get their fairytale transfer, with the player still struggling to get into the Spurs team.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: "He's about a £20million player, I think, in the current market. Spurs want to sell. They need to.
"They're going to need to balance the books. It's a deal that would work for everybody. So, it feels like that kind of range and is doable for Leeds.
"It's really about getting that balance right, and bringing in enough quality so that they're not in relegation trouble next season.
"And they can start to build incrementally in time for the new increased capacity, which all helps to drive the club forward incrementally."
What has Solomon done since leaving Elland Road?
It would appear that Solomon was made to believe that he'd be given a chance to shine at Hotspur Way following his season-long loan in West Yorkshire.
That was far from the truth, though, as he was shipped straight out to Villarreal in La Liga, where he made 11 appearances, before then joining Fiorentina on loan.
He recorded five goal contributions in Spain and four in Italy, but no campaign in his senior career has come close to what he did for Leeds.
The majority of fans at Elland Road would give anything to bring him back this summer, and the player may have just let out a come-get-me plea.
