'Sacked today' - Leicester City fans are adamant over Russell Martin dismissal
Leicester City fans have called for Russell Martin to be sacked after their 0-0 draw against MK Dons on Saturday.
The Foxes picked up yet another draw in League One, with the club still without a victory in the third tier.
The result has seen the Foxes fall down to 20th in the table after Saturday’s fixtures, with three of the four clubs below them possessing a game in hand.
As a result, Martin is now already under heavy pressure at Leicester, just months after he was appointed as their new manager.
Some fans have already seen enough and have called for the 40-year-old to be dismissed.
So far, Martin has only won one of his five matches in charge of Leicester in all competitions, and has just a 20 per cent win rate.

Martin was already an unpopular appointment for many Leicester City fans.
The manager’s awful spell at Rangers last season, which saw him win just five games in 17 matches, has severely damaged his reputation.
Unfortunately for Martin, victories are still proving to be difficult to come by at Leicester, despite the club being promotion favourites at the start of the season.
Now, after the draw against MK Dons, many supporters have taken to X to demand that Martin be sacked after their dire start to the 2026-27 campaign.
Did Leicester deserve three points vs MK Dons?
Overall, Leicester were perhaps unlucky not to beat MK Dons on Saturday.
The Foxes had 24 shots, seven of which were on target, 41 touches in MK Dons’ box and nine corners.
In comparison, the hosts had seven shots, one of which was on target, 15 touches in Leicester’s box and just four corners.
Therefore, if Martin’s players could convert their chances, it could have been a comfortable win in the end for the East Midlands club.
However, the longer Leicester go without their first League One win this season, the more pressure Martin will be under, no matter how they play.
As a result, it remains to be seen if the manager can turn this dire start around in the coming weeks.
