Leicester City fans are shocked that the club has rejected bids for Stephy Mavididi and Wout Faes.

Russell Martin revealed the news after the Foxes’ 1-1 draw with Notts County, when the duo were not selected in the squad.

Both players are hugely unpopular at the King Power Stadium after they helped oversee the club’s back-to-back relegations down to League One.

As a result, many supporters have been calling for Leicester to sell both Mavididi and Faes for months.

Therefore, when it was revealed that the Foxes have now rejected bids for the duo, fans were furious.

It is unknown which clubs made the bids, but Mavididi has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough this week.

When examining the duo, it is hard to see how either has a future at Leicester.

Mavididi had been hounded by fans last weekend for his performance in the 1-0 victory over Northampton Town, while Faes left the club halfway through last season to go out to Monaco on loan.

Therefore, it is easy to see why supporters want the duo out of the club as quickly as possible.

As a result, when Martin revealed the news that bids had been rejected for Mavididi and Faes, fans quickly took to X to express their anger at the decision, believing that the Foxes should be doing whatever they can to sell them.
