Chelsea fans believe that Levi Colwill needs to be dropped by Enzo Maresca following his mistake against West Ham United on Monday (3 February).

The Blues defeated the Hammers 2-1 after a goal from Pedro Neto and an own goal by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but they had to come from behind to earn the three points after Jarrod Bowen scored in the first half.

Bowen got himself on the scoresheet in a surprising circumstance as a misplaced pass allowed him to unexpectedly go one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Colwill attempted to pass the back under pressure from Mohammed Kudus, but failed to look up and see the danger that the England international was posing.

Bowen slotted his chance into the back of the net while Colwill attempted to claim a foul, which was denied by the on-field official.

The Blues were able to move back into the top four with the victory though, overtaking Man City and Newcastle in the Premier League table.

Chelsea fans want Levi Colwill dropped moving forward

The 21-year-old was featuring in his 22nd Premier League game of the season against West Ham, with the defender proving to be trustworthy under Enzo Maresca.

However, after the Blues recently called back Trevoh Chalobah there are more options available to the Chelsea boss and fans want him to utilise that.

Supporters have stated Colwill has “been making poor mistakes recently” as others claimed he was “garbage” against West Ham.

Levi Colwill needs to be dropped immediately. This kind of foolery will not be tolerated anymore. He needs to fix up and win his position back. After that he needs to drop minimum 6 months of excellent performances until I can remove the fraud tag off him!!
