Levy 'definitely telling' Nuno to recall Ndombele to Tottenham line-up - pundit
Daniel Levy will tell Nuno Espirito Santo to put Tanguy Ndombele back into the Tottenham starting XI, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Levy will be desperate to keep Spurs’ record-signing Ndombele’s value high.
The frozen-out midfielder was on the bench for the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace but has not had a single minute of action under Nuno.
Football Insider revealed on 19 August he wanted to quit Spurs before the end of the transfer window but he could not find a new club.
As quoted by football.london, Nuno claimed he did not come on against Palace because Spurs were down to 10 men after Japhet Tanganga was sent off.
Instead, defender Ben Davies replaced Harry Winks just after the hour mark with the scores 0-0.

“I just don’t get it,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Ndombele starts ahead of any of those midfielders at Spurs, for me. Before Winks, before Oliver Skipp, before Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.
“Maybe he’s too attacking for Nuno.
“When a player like that has cost the club a lot of money, Daniel Levy will definitely be telling Nuno ‘You have to get him back involved, you have to. I know you don’t like him but he has to be back involved because his value will be going down so you have to make use of him’.”
Ndombele could make his first appearance of the season against Rennes in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
He was included in the squad for the group stages after missing out on the 25-man group for the qualifier against F.C. Paços de Ferreira.
