When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on Hwang’s future, Campbell said: “I think he’d be a great signing for both [Liverpool and Man City].
“Let’s be honest, Man City could do with any striker.
“Hwang Hee–chan has shone since coming to the Premier League. He can score goals but he can also play. He is dangerous and the bonus is he can play across the front line.
“If Man City are taking notice, then you know he’s a good player.
“He is a very lively player so I’m not surprised to hear some of the big boys are looking at him.”
Speaking on Hwang last month, Wolves boss Bruno Lage said: “I think he has adapted to the Premier League…
“Top players can enjoy our game and I think he is a top player like the other guys.”
