Luis Diaz could complete a late-window move away from Liverpool this summer, sources have told Football Insider

The Colombia international is expected to start pre-season with the Merseyside giants as new boss Arne Slot looks to prepare his side for his first campaign at Anfield.

But Liverpool will accept an offer in excess of £50million for Diaz despite him being a first-team regular for the majority of the time since his move from Portuguese side Porto in January 2022.

Sources say a late transfer is regarded as “possible”, but the Premier League club would need to line up an A-list replacement first before letting the 27-year-old leave this summer.

The winger is under contract at Anfield until 2027.

Luis Diaz could leave Liverpool after PSG interest

Diaz has provided extra flare to the Liverpool attack since his arrival from Porto more than two years ago.

The Colombian started in 42 of his 51 appearances last season as he recorded 13 goals and five assists – marking his best return for the club in his second full campaign at Anfield.

But Liverpool chiefs could cash in on the winger this summer if they receive an offer in excess of the £50million they paid Porto to sign him.

There has also been speculation surrounding some of the Merseysiders’ other senior players since Slot was announced as Jurgen Klopp’s successor.

Mohamed Salah has also been linked with an exit after Football Insider revealed the star forward is set to hold crunch talks over his future at Anfield ahead of his contract expiring in June 2025.
