Liverpool eye £100m-rated left-sided flyer after dropping interest in Lemar - report

Liverpool are said to be keen on a move for Bayer Leverkusen ace Leon Bailey, according to a report.
The Mirror believe that after dropping their interest in Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, Jurgen Klopp now fancies the 20-year-old Jamaican forward.
However, Bild, the German media outlet claim that the youngster will not come cheap and the Reds will have to cough up £100million for the highly-rated attacker.
In the 22 appearances Bailey has made this season, the forward has racked up ten goals.
The Leverkusen ace only moved to the Bundesliga outfit back in Januray 2017 and has a contract at the BayArena until 2022.
Football Insider verdict:
The statistics are incredible that the Kingston native has been creating, made all the more phenomenal given his age. Bailey already seems to have it all and with Thomas Lemar having a relatively tame season compared to his usual standards, the 20-year-old seems to possess all the same attributes and more than the Frenchman. The Leverkusen winger’s pace on the wing is electrifying and he regularly tears apart opposing defences in the Bundesliga where he has become a prominent player. He won’t come cheaply though. There is a lot of competition for the forward in the form of Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal all on scouting missions for the youngster.
