Liverpool fans found out who they're playing in the Champions League quarter-finals, after the draw took place on Friday morning, and they're delivered a mixed reaction.

They avoided Barcelona, who will play Roma with the first leg at Spain.

And they also avoided Juventus and Real Madrid, who drew each other.

However, when Sevilla v Bayern Munich were drawn, Liverpool fans realised that it meant they'd be playing runaway Premier League leaders Man City. 

The news was confirmed on the official Liverpool Twitter site:

The bad news is that it means that only one English side can make it to this year's final, and it will be a tough ask for Liverpool to progress.

They're playing the first leg at home and will be desperate to get some sort of advantage to take back to the Etihad.

And Liverpool fans were in two minds at the sensational news, with some saying they'll get through as they've already beaten them in the league.

Others were not quite as confident, with one claiming it was a fix to put the two English sides together.
