Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to tear into Dominic Solanke for his performance in the 4-0 win against Brighton at Anfield on Sunday - even though he scored his first goal for the club to round off an impressive Premier League season for the Reds.

Solanke, 20, earned just his fifth Premier League start for the Reds on the final day of the league season, however not all fans were impressed with the former Chelsea forward.

And it seems that the bulk of fans may still want the one-time England international gone in the summer after his performance in the win over Brighton.

One Liverpool supporter went so far to say that the club should "sell" the forward in upcoming transfer window.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Solanke has made 26 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool this season after arriving from Chelsea last summer.

Most of his outings for the Reds have been off the bench, but Jurgen Klopp and the fans will surely want a forward in their side who is able to find the net on a regular basis off the bench.
