Liverpool injury update: Duo in line for return against Watford
By Matt Bullin
Liverpool duo Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge have returned to full training ahead of the Reds’ Monday night clash against Watford.
Jurgen Klopp revealed today in his press conference that both Lallana and Sturridge returned to full training this week, hinting that the duo may be involved at Vicarage Road on Monday.
Lallana has been sidelined since the beginning of March with a thigh problem, while Sturridge has struggled intermittently with a hip complaint.
However, despite this boost, Reds skipper Jordan Henderson will continue to miss out with a heel injury.
As quoted by the Independent, Klopp said of the duo’s situation: “Today we had a really important session, Adam [Lallana] involved, [Daniel] Sturridge involved.

“Adam is back in team training for the first time, [Jordan] Henderson not on the pitch, Daniel in team training too. [The next match is on] Monday night – so we can give Lallana some more time training.”
Liverpool suffered a hugely disappointing defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace last time out.
Philippe Coutinho struck a fine free kick to hand his side the lead, only for a Christian Benteke double to sink his former side at Anfield.
Potentially having Lallana back for the Watford will be a huge boost for Klopp’s side, who have struggled in midfield without his presence.
The 28-year-old has scored seven goals and provided seven assists for the Reds in his 27 Premier League appearances this term.
However Sturridge has not had much of an impact this season, after a indifferent few weeks for Divock Origi, the England man may be called upon by Klopp if fit.
