Liverpool tipped to sign A-list star after deal agreed - pundit
Liverpool can add “one quality player” to their squad with the money raised from player sales in this window, according to Paul Robinson.
The former Spurs and England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said he is “worried” for Jurgen Klopp’s side next season given the transfer activity of Man City, Man United and Chelsea.
The summer has been dominated by exits at Liverpool, with Ibrahima Konate the only addition to the first team squad.
The club has confirmed Harry Wilson, Marko Grujic and Taiwo Awoniyi have all left Anfield permanently for a combined fee in the region of £29million.
Robinson suggested further exits may be needed before significant signings are made.
“It really depends on who Liverpool lose moving forward,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.

“It is a really big window for them. There is talk about Salah and Henderson leaving.
“Yes, they have recouped close to £30million but we know they did not have a huge transfer budget before that. So they could probably only add one quality player with that money.
“When you look at what Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are planning to spend in this window, you worry for Liverpool. You question their financial power.”
Manchester United have signed Jadon Sancho in this window and are close to agreeing a deal with Real Madrid for Raphael Varane.
Manchester City have set their sights on signing Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, while Chelsea want to add an A-list striker to their ranks with Erling Haaland their top target.
