Liverpool: Bradley Barcola's future increasingly clear after PSG Super Cup win

Bradley Barcola continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, and Liverpool are at the front of the queue.

With Mohamed Salah gone and Andoni Iraola now in charge, the Reds are reportedly interested in a whole host of talents, including PSG's No.29.

Last season, the 23-year-old notched 13 goals and six assists, not including the Club World Cup, and had a successful 2026 World Cup, personally.

Should he make the move away from Ligue 1, though, any potential suitors may have to pay way over the odds, with the French side wanting £120million-plus.

With Alexander Isak arriving for £125m last summer, Barcola could soon become Liverpool's most expensive signing of all time.

Iraola has only added Jeremy Jacquet and Victor Munoz to his squad for transfer fees, with Ronald Araujo arriving on loan, so it would hardly be a surprise.

All signs are currently pointing towards a deal being done between now and the transfer window closing, with Luis Enrique making a point.

Liverpool are not the only Premier League team keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, who has notched 39 goals and 35 assists in 152 appearances.

Mick Brown told Football Insider that Arsenal are plotting to hijack the move this summer, having missed out on Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior.

It would be a surprise if clubs like Bayern Munich or Barcelona weren't also keeping tabs onthe situation. Barcola is a special talent and has years ahead of him.

However, the price tag is ultimately going to put interested suitors off his signature, but that's simply what football has come to now.
