Andoni Iraola's priority remains for Liverpool to sign PSG star Bradley Barcola above any other target this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Liverpool's summer saga with Barcola continues to rumble on ahead of the final week of the transfer window.

He has been on their radar for months now after struggling for regular starts at PSG last season.

The two clubs have been apart in their valuations of his services up to now, but could come to an agreement in the next nine days.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Iraola is pushing the Liverpool board to land Barcola before the end of the window, as he is his number one target above any other attacking players.

The likes of Endrick and Yankuba Minteh have been linked with a move to Anfield, but Barcola remains a priority as he eyes an exit from PSG.

Liverpool want to get double PSG deal done as Bradley Barcola saga continues

Sources have revealed to Football Insider that Liverpool are also keen on signing 18-year-old PSG talent Ibrahim Mbaye in this window.

Barcola remains their priority alongside a move for Mbaye, with both being left out of PSG's squad for their French Super Cup clash with Lens last weekend.

Liverpool believe that PSG could come to a compromise to sell Barcola, as they are not willing to meet his £125million price tag this summer.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "(Endrick) is an ambitious possible target for Liverpool to strengthen their attacking resources, but I their main focus is trying to get a deal for Bradley Barcola over the line, which has been one of the sagas of the summer, and they are also trying to sign his PSG teammate, Ibrahim Mbaye."

What has Luis Enrique said about the futures of Barcola and Mbaye?

With Liverpool looking to swoop for two PSG stars, Enrique is clearly annoyed by how his players are being unsettled with the new season fully underway.

The Parisians boss offered a frosty response to reporters when asked about their futures earlier this week, saying: "The future of Barcola and Mbaye? I will talk about the transfer market after it's done."

Both players have remained in training with the Spaniard's first-team, so all eyes will be on the PSG teamsheet when they face Rennes in their Ligue 1 opener on Sunday evening.
