Mohamed Salah is set to receieve lucrative offers from Turkey after his exit from Liverpool became official, sources have told Football Insider.

The 34-year-old officially left Liverpool on 30 June upon the expiry of his contract, but his future is no clearer, with Turkish giants the latest to join the hotly-contested race.

After Egypt were eliminated from the World Cup, talks over his future are expected to accelerate, and he will consider offers from a number of clubs before making a decision.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, the biggest clubs in the Turkish Super Lig are lining up big-money offers to lure Salah in.

A move to the Saudi Pro League is still considered the most likely option for the former Liverpool star, but there is optimism in Turkey that he could be tempted.

The likes of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are all believed to be keen, but Salah is expected to delay any final decision over his future as he weighs up his options.

Could Mohamed Salah complete a move to Turkey?

Football Insider reported in April that Salah may be having second thoughts about a move to Saudi Arabia, potentially opening the door for rival clubs to swoop.

While they are far from the only interested parties, Turkish clubs are now perparing to step up their interest with lucrative financial offers for the forward.

The clubs have shown in recent windows that they are not afraid to spend big, and they now hope to lure Salah in with a big-money offer to beat off interest from elsewhere.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "Obviously now that Mo Salah is not concentrating on the World Cup, that will probably speed up things, with regards to his future.

"You would say the Saudi Pro League is still probably the favourite for where he will end up, because obiously he's been a long-term target for them.

"There's also big interest from multiple of the giant clubs in Turkey, who are ready to offer Salah a lucrative contract to make the move to that part of the world.

"As things stand, he's not announced anything regarding his next destination and will be taking a bit of time out after his World Cup exploits.

"But I would imagine in the next couple of weeks, thing will become a lot more clear about where Mohamed Salah will continue his future."

Where is Salah's most likely destination this summer?

Since he announced he would be leaving Liverpool, there has been no shortage of interest in Salah, although he was expected to move to the Saudi Pro League.

While their interest remains strong, having been keen to make him the face of the league as the world's most high-profile Muslim footballer, doubts have now crept in.

Football Insider revealed on 10 July that MLS clubs are readying offers for Salah and believe he could be tempted to stay in the USA following his time at the World Cup.

He is expected to consider a number of offers from clubs in Europe, America and Saudi Arabia, with MLS clubs growing in confidence he can be convinced.

The USA clubs could now be well-placed to pull off what would be another marquee signing, with Robert Lewandowski having joined Chicago Fire already this summer.
