Sources: Liverpool and Arsenal accept Ayyoub Bouaddi loan-to-buy demand
The French side are hoping to keep the 18-year-old for one more season, and both Premier League clubs are willing to accept that demand if it is the only way to get a deal done.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal are huge admirers of Bouaddi, while Manchester City are also hoping to make a move to sign him ahead of next season.
Sources have indicated that Lille will demand close to the £100million mark for the starlet, who has dazzled for Morocco at this summer’s World Cup.
The Premier League trio are set to find it “very difficult” to sign Bouaddi, due to the combination of his price tag and Lille’s desire to have him back on loan.
He has already been earmarked by several elite clubs as one of European football’s best emerging midfield talents, and the race for his signature is expected to go down to the wire.
Liverpool want Ayyoub Bouaddi to replace Curtis Jones
Football Insider revealed back in June that Liverpool are “closely monitoring” Bouaddi this summer, with a view to adding him to their midfield.
The Anfield outfit are working to fine-tune their squad for new boss Andoni Iraola, and the centre of midfield has been identified as a key area for improvement.
The Reds are facing sustained interest from Inter Milan for homegrown talent Curtis Jones, and are lining Bouaddi up to take his place in the squad.
His reputation has sky-rocketed during an impressive World Cup for Morocco, and interest in his services could yet spike even further if he can help his country past France in Thursday’s quarter-final clash.
Liverpool are a firm part of the race to sign the starlet this summer, but it will not be easy for them given the array of eyes that are fixed on him at the moment.
PSG star could force through Liverpool move
Football Insider revealed last weekend that PSG winger Bradley Barcola could yet push to force through a move to Liverpool this summer.
The France international is behind the trio of Ousmane Dembele, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue in the pecking order at PSG, and could look to move in search of more regular minutes.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the 23-year-old, but are likely to find it difficult to land him this summer with PSG under no pressure to show him the door.
With that in mind, it is understood that the only way for the Reds to land Barcola will be if the player sets the cogs for a move in motion himself.
