Sources: Man City line up massive bid for 'top priority' Grealish as Villa braced
Man City are lining up a massive summer bid for Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish, Football Insider has learned.
The 25-year-old is a target for leading Premier League and European teams this summer after his outstanding campaign.
A City source has told Football Insider that Grealish is top of Pep Guardiola’s target list and the club are planning a huge offer to get their man.
It has been reported that Villa have slapped a £100m price tag on Grealish and that makes him out of reach for now.
Football Insider has been told that it will not take that kind of money to lure the England international from the Midlands giants this summer.
City have also been strongly linked with Erling Haaland this week after it was announced that Sergio Aguero will leave at the end of the season.

But Haaland is not the main priority at this stage for the Premier League leaders as they target Grealish.
Villa will certainly be concerned about the prospect of City’s interest in their talisman and skipper.
The club’s billionaire owners Wes Edens and Naseef Sawiris are hugely ambitious and have no pressing need to sell.
But the prospect of joining City and working under Guardiola, widely regarded as the game’s outstanding coach, could prove impossible to resist.
Grealish signed a new five-year contract last September after being convinced by the plans of Edens and Sawiris.
He has subsequently cemented his status as one of the Premier League’s outstanding creators.
Grealish has made 23 appearances for Villa this season, which have yielded seven goals and 12 assists.
In other news, Man City are readying a “concrete” move for striker who’s lit up the Premier League and is not Harry Kane.
