Man United told to accept '£25m' Aaron Wan Bissaka offer after reveal - pundit
Man United will make a “huge loss” on Aaron Wan Bissaka if they sell him back to Crystal Palace this summer.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Red Devils’ finances.
The Athletic reported on 28 April that Crystal Palace are considering a move to bring back the 24-year-old although a loan move is more likely than a permanent one.
The right-back moved to Old Trafford from Palace in the summer of 2019 for £50million but has failed to live up to his price tag.
A club source told Football Insider last month (23 April) that Erik ten Hag will only have £50million to rebuild the squad with and must sell players to raise funds.
Kenny insists raising the necessary funds to improve the current squad will prove difficult after overspending in the past.

“They aren’t going to make their money back on Wan Bissaka, not even close,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“So it’s about how much can they get. I think they have to forget about how much they paid because whatever he goes for, it will be a huge loss.
“If Palace offer £20million, will that be accepted? I’m not sure, you can’t take the mickey.
“£25million might do it though. I can’t see there being a huge queue of clubs wanting him so Man United might just have to take what they can get.
“This is the problem they will keep having this summer.”
Wan-Bissaka has played 26 times across all competitions this season but has found himself behind Diogo Dalot in the pecking order in recent weeks.
He has featured in 126 games since moving to Old Trafford after a breakout season with Palace.
