Manager of PL giants delays 21-year-old flyer's move to Newcastle due to concerns - report

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has delayed Kenedy’s loan move to Newcastle due to concerns over the Blues’ squad size, according to a report.
News outlet Goal have claimed on their website that the Magpies are expected to bring in the 21-year-old left-back this summer.
However, given that Conte was forced to name the Brazilian flyer on the Chelsea bench in their season opener against Burnley he is now not expected to move until the Blues add more personnel to their side.
It is detailed that Kenedy damaged his standing at the London-based club after being sent home from the Blues’ pre-season tour of China after posting an offensive Instagram message.
Newcastle, meanwhile suffered an injury to first choice left-back Paul Dummett in their season opener against Tottenham on Sunday and they could now be looking at Kenedy, who has made 22 appearances in total for the Chelsea first team since joining from Brazilian club Fluminense in 2015.

Football Insider verdict:
It is hard to grasp just how good Kenedy is given that he is one of the many players to have been stockpiled at Chelsea and many like Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon aren’t even Premier League quality. Additionally, the Brazilian has had a disappointing loan spell at Watford in England’s top-flight previously, which saw him make just one substitute appearance. This means Newcastle should be reserved on this deal and they can sign an untapped talent, or a complete dud who is not ready for the Premier League.
