While the main focus is on the big-name stars at the Etihad Stadium following the news of Man City's 114 charges, the club's loanees continue to shine.
Phil Foden, Nico O'Reilly and Ryan McAidoo have all proven a clear path to the first team, but others are having to wait their turn for a chance.
Jaden Heskey, 20, Jeremy Monga, 17, and Divin Mukasa, 19, are all plying their trade in the Championship this term, with first-team aspirations for the future.
The hope will be that these figures can come into the fray after proving themselves in the second tier, especially if the Citizens are relegated as a result of their guilty verdict.
But nobody is exciting fans more than 21-year-old Pierce Charles, who Man City re-signed for £10million, before sending him out on loan to QPR.

His passing ability in the Championship has stunned many, and his latest exploits on the international stage are beginning to turn heads.
Charles has now kept back-to-back clean sheets for Northern Ireland, doing so against Georgia and Hungary in recent days.
He saved a penalty from PSG's Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, before then making one world-class save to secure three points on Monday, 28 September.
Reacting to his performance, former footballer and now pundit Don Hutchison took to X, writing: "I’ve not seen much of QPR this season...
"But I watched this lad play last night in goal against Hungary. Wow. With the ball at his feet, he looks incredible."
Which Man City gems also deserve senior chances?
Getting into the first team at the Etihad has been far from simple in recent years, but Maresca appears more likely to open his door.
Also on loan this season, Divin Mubama, currently at Southampton, deserves a chance to be Erling Haaland's understudy.
Max Alleyne, Burnley, Mukasa, West Ham United, and Juma Bah, Augsburg, are all in line for first-team opportunities, having moved away to gain valuable minutes.
If the Citizens are relegated to the Championship, these kinds of players could become even more important, so promising them minutes ahead of next season is key.
